Primer is IMPORTANT! 

Smashbox Iconic Photo Finish Primer is one product I can’t live without. Personally, on set and of course on my brides, primer is the first step in making sure your foundation not only sits properly, but that your skin has a nice smooth surface to blend with. Smashbox has a vast line of primers available for all skin types and needs. I often double up on my primers by using Photo Finish Primer on my whole face and applying a bit of their Pore Minimizing primer around my nose. Flawless!

All Night Long! 

After the precious time you’ve taken to plan and prep for your makeup look, it’s vital to make sure your makeup doesn’t budge!
Urban Decays legendary All Nighter is a weightless setting spray; think of it as hair spray for your face. It does not completely rid your skin of shine so be sure to tuck away a few blotting papers in your clutch just in case. Spray this over your makeup to seal in your glam and thank me in the morning.

Hair Spray luxury at its finest. Oribe products are celebrity favorites and for good reason. First off, their smells are intoxicating, so much so I can often be found spraying my Superfine Hair Spray around my home as an air freshener. When I’m not doing that, I’m glazing my locs with this medium hold, yet brushable hair spray. No hard hat hair here!

 

Purrrrfect Pout

Bold-well defined lips are just sexy. And often times I find myself not using a lip liner to achieve my desired look. Not for any particular reason other than not finding a liner in a particular color I’m going for, or to be honest, not wanting to buy a separate liner in the same shade as my lipstick. Lip brushes are the perfect substitution. They allow you to use there flat surface to define your lips in the same manner as you would with your liner. Best of all, if you don’t have the room to take a full size lipstick for touch ups, just load some lip color onto your lip brush and you will have the perfect amount of touch-up color for after dinner. MAC #318 Retractable Lip Brush is great for this tip since the brush retracts and will prevent lip color all over your clutch.
